SAMPLE ITINERARY:

Day 1

Set sail for the legendary Norman Island, the inspiration for Robert Lewis Stephenson's"Treasure Island" and the home of "the caves" for a beautiful snorkel. Norman Island is also the home of Pirates Bight Bar and the William Thornton floating restaurant for a fun and festive evening.

Day 2

After a yummy breakfast make a run over to the Indians for a terrific dive / snorkel. The Indians are three beautiful rock formations with lavish corals and sponges surrounded by rocky ledges and steep walls. Keep an eye out for the Hawksbill Turtles. After the divewe set sail up the Sir Frances Drake channel towards Cooper Island for our evening anchorage. Cooper Island is a natural island stop along the sister island chain leading tothe baths at Virgin Gorda.

Day 3

An early morning sail to Salt Island the home of the RMS Rhone, a mailing steamer that sunk off the island October 29, 1867. This has been described as the best wreck dive inthe world by numerous publications, including National Geographic, British Broadcasting (BBC), and many more. The vessel rests in two sections between 35 & 80 feet of clear water. You will be able to swim through the amazingly intact bow section or by the 15' propeller the whole time being greeted by the friendly Barracuda or the numerous turtles. After one of the most amazing dives on this trip we will set sail across the Sir Francis Drake channel to the Dog Islands for a gorgeous day anchorage and beautiful dive and snorkel spot. After lunch we will set sail for our night anchorage at Marina Cay or on a full moon we'll venture to Trellis Bay for their full moon party.

Day 4

Sail across the channel to the world famous "Baths" a history lesson of the islands volcanic origins. Huge granite boulders lie in piles on the white sandy beach forming scenic grottoes that open to the sea. We will hike through the formations on trails set with wooden stairs and ropes ending up in one of the most beautiful spots on the trip for a photo. Don't forget your camera this may be the "Christmas card shot" you've been waiting for. We will continue our sailing adventure up the Channel towards the Bitter End for the evening.

Day 5

Leave the Bitter End and set the sails to Anegada the only coral island in the volcanic BVI's. Anegada, also known as the, Drowned Lady, is 11 miles long by 3 miles wide and the highest point is 28' above sea level. Anegada is a snorkeler's paradise with a maze of tunnels, drops, and caves boasting a rich marine life and after visiting the sea life you can sit and enjoy one of Anegadas famous Rum Teasers or Wreck Punch. Anegada is alsoknown for its spectacular Lobster meals.

Day 6

Set the sails for the down wind leg of our trip towards Jost Van Dyke. The "Barefoot" Island is known by travelers around the world for its casual lifestyle, protected anchorages, fine beaches and beachfront restaurants and bars. In Great Harbor is the world famous Foxy's! Once started as a lemonade stand now is the quintessential beach bar and the home of many events such as the Halloween cat fight (Catamaran race),wooden boat regatta, and a great New Year's Eve. Around the corner at White Bay (beautiful anchorage) is the Soggy Dollar Bar aptly named for the soggy condition of the dollars from the sailors whom swam ashore, its also the home of the "painkiller" a rum concoction with pineapple juice, OJ, cream of coconut, and fresh nutmeg. These will make you dance, take great pictures, and if you have enough think you're a great singer. This is a great place to spend the last night of your trip because unfortunately……

Day 7

Leave Jost Van Dyke for our stretch run towards our final destination St. John. St. John is where we will clear customs and leave you time to explore the island and pick up souvenirs, t shirts and post cards to remember us by.

JOST VAN DYKE

White Bay - Names for the white sand beaches, this bay is a favorite with charter guests.
Visits to the Soggy Dollar bar (founding bar of the legendary "Painkiller" beverage) are a must.

Great Harbor - This quaint little town in home to the world famous Foxy's. Foxy's along
with the rest of Great Harbor throw one of the world most famous New Years Parties.
Imagine the harbor with enough boats to get from one end to the other without getting wet!

Sandy Cay - Great snorkeling on this picturesque island!

Green Cay - For a little more protection and calmer waters, this locale offers great snorkeling
as well.

Road Town - The business and charter center of Tortola.

Marina Cay - This litle islands offers a full service restaurant, bar, shopping, scuba services
and a small resort.

Cane Garden Bay - Very popular with the sailing crowd; multiple party destinations as well as
a great place to go ashore for dinner one night.

Apple Bay - Bomba Shack - ask your captain!

Sopers Hole - Customs and shopping are available in this postcard village.

Salt Island - Home of the RMS Rhone. Salt offers one of the best dive locations in the BVI as well as fantastic snorkeling at the RMS Rhone Underwater Park

Dead Chest - As in "Sixteen Men on the Dead Man's Chest". Great snorkeling for the more
adventurous as well as the site of 2 fantastic dive sites.

Peter Island - A great spot to water ski and tubing in the large calm bay of Great Harbor.

Ginger Island - One of the best, and often more challenging dive sites is located on the Southern
side of Ginger; Alice in Wonderland. Named for the large coral heads and formations, a must
dive when conditions permit for the more thrill seeking divers.

COOPER ISLAND

Cooper Island - Home of the famous Cooper Island Beach Club; a favorite for the day boats
coming from the USVI. A restaurant, bar and dive/gift shop are in the scenic little hamlet.

NORMAN ISLANDS AND THE INDIANS

The Caves - Actual caves that you can snorkel in!

The Bight - Home of the famous (notorious?) William Thorton, also called the Willy T. A pirate
ship/resturaunt and bar.

The Indians - A fantastic dive and snorkel site for al levels of experience.

Leverick Bay - Home of the Bitter End and Leverick Bay Yacht Clubs and Resorts.

Long Bay - Named for it's, well, Long Bay and Beaches. Great place to take and afternoon
swim and beach stroll.

The Baths - Short for Batholith, the area is actually named for the granite rock formations, not
the natural salt water baths formed by the rocks and sea. One of the more photographed areas
in the islands.
